Children's Auditions for Sacramento Ballet's Nutcracker 2021

Nutcracker Children's Auditions will be held on September 11, 2021 for all youth ages 6-17 years old interested in performing with the Company of Sacramento Ballet through the Holiday Season.This year, Nutcracker is being reimagined by three current & former Sacramento Ballet dancers who are collaborating to bring new wonder and mystery to Clara's winter adventure. Each performance at the renovated SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center will be a journey to remember for your child and your loved ones. Audition Requirements: Children must be 6 years of age by December 1st, 2021 to audition. Dance experience is suggested. Everyone auditioning should be able to follow directions and sit calmly during auditions and rehearsals. COVID-19 vaccinations required for all eligible children. Masks are required to be worn over the nose and mouth during auditions, and at all rehearsals and any time participants are in the CLARA building. If fully vaccinated, masks may be removed for photos, dress rehearsals, and performances only.
