Engage - Educate - Employ
Northern California’s only ongoing forum showcasing the issues that intersect education, workforce development and the economy. At the October 16th program, business, civic and education leaders will converge to discuss the importance of industry engagement in career pathway programs throughout the Capital Region. Employer support and input plays a significant role in current educational programs to ensure our future workforce has the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to achieve success in 21st century careers.
Keynote speaker, Sacramento State President, Dr. Robert Nelsen, will share his priorities for Sac State and the vaue of creatung workforce pipelines in the Capital Region. Additionally, a panel with K-12, post-secondary, and business leaders will discuss the importance of fostering career pathways and the direct success those programs have in ensuring success both as a student and in future employment.
