Corporate Science Challenge

The annual "Corporate Science Challenge" is a fundraising effort by the Davis nonporift science museum.

Divisions
Each competing team can choose to compete in of two divisions: "The Serious Scients" or "Just for Fun." The winner of The Serious Scientists division is awarded the perpetual trophy designed by Sacramento artist David Rible. the trophy can be displayed proudly for a year. Each member winning Just for Fun team is presented a unique and fun prize they can display for years to come.

Questions
There are six multiple-choice questions in six rounds with each round's point value increasing. Each round is a different fun theme. Last year's rounds included "Survivor Science," "On the Move," and "Time and Again." After each question is read and displayed, teams have 20 seconds to choose the correct answer.

Superviosr Thomson's deputy, Beth Gabor, invites all EDC members to gain some publicity by either sponsoring tables, donating Silent Auction items, or donating gifts for all the volunteers who give their time. The volunteer gifts can be simple fruit and nut baskets or wines or gift certiifcates to your business or business services. All donoers will be recognized in the event materials.
