DDSO's Benefit Art Exhibit at DaDas Gallery

Come by Dadas Art Gallery to view an exuberant display of art by artists of the Short Center South, Short Center North and Alan Short Center programs from the Developmental Disabilities Service Organization (DDSO). 2D and 3D artwork by more than a dozen artists are on exhibit featuring figuration and abstraction using ink, pencil, crayon, watercolor, acrylic and clay. The artists in this show are professional artists, showing and selling their work throughout Sacramento and for some artists, nationwide. The exhibit kicks off DDSO’s annual fundraiser, Uncork for the Arts, when the public comes together to recognize the achievements of DDSO clients from its various programs in the performing and visual arts, employment training, daily life skills, and community readiness. Please support these artists and the many other clients and staff in our programs by joining us for wine and chef tastings from neighborhood restaurants during the 2nd Saturday art walk on August 13th, 6-9 PM for the opening reception and thank you party.
