DEIR Public Hearing & Workshop

The State of Calif. Dept. of General Services (DGS) has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the proposed Capitol West Side Projects, consisting of the West End Office Complex & Central Plant Renovation projects. The DEIR may be reviewed online at www.WestSideProjects.com or by visiting the Sacramento Central Library at 828 I Street during library hours. You may also use the website or call our hotline at (877)227-9781 to request a CD or hard copy of the Draft EIR. The Capitol West Side Projects team encourages interested stake holders to attend a public hering to momment on the DEIR. It is not necessary to provide testimony during the public hearing portion of the workshop; comments on the DEIR will be accepted throughout the workshop by recording them at the public comment table. In addition to the public hearing, stakeholders may send written comments on the DEIR to: Mr. Robt. Sleppy - Environmental Serv. Sec. - State of Calif. - Dept. of Gen. Serv. (DGS) - 707 3rd St., Third Floor - West Sac., Ca. 95605. Comments may also be submitted via e-mail. If comments are sent via e-mail, please include project title in the subject line, attach comments in MS Word format & include the commentor's U>S>Oostal Service mailing address. The deadline for submission of all comments is Thurs. Jan. 5, 2006 by 5:00 pm.
