Forum on Sustainable Communities Grant & Loan Program

The Sustainable Communities Grant & Loan Program (SCGL) was created to assist cities & Counties to develop & implement sustainable development growth policies, programs & projects. The next funding round is anticipated in 2006. SCGL may fund: *specific plans *portions of specific plans *alternative transportation studies *public projects *other projects that promote sustainable development principles. First priority funding goes to applicants that lack resources to develop & implement sustainable development growth policies, programs & projects.
