Next Economy, a concerted, business-led economic revitalization strategy to grow jobs and investment in the Sacramento Region, will host the second of three public conversations with a broad slate of regional interests. The Forum will reveal new research findings, gauge public reaction to those findings and set in motion four industry cluster work groups centered on defining catalytic strategies and unified short-term, medium, and long-term actions to generate jobs, new investment and wealth creation across the priority clusters.
Throughout the planning process, Next Economy is committed to engaging in a community-wide conversation with regional interests to ensure unified actions are clearly defined and successfully implemented. The Regional Forum will present the latest research including results from a regional Innovations Assessment; extend the efforts of working groups established to identify regional assets to capitalize on and barriers to overcome; and look out at what's next in this unprecedented collaborative effort to drive new investment and grow job opportunities across the Sacramento region.
The event is free, but registration is requested. More information on Next Economy and a registration link to the February 17 Regional Forum can be found at www.nexteconomycapitalregion.org.
