Nonprofits CAN and SHOULD lobby

There are many things happening at the national, state and local levels that will have a crucial effect on arts groups and their funding sources. Your 501(c)3 organization doesn't have to and shouldn't sit idle and watch these public policy changes take place. You have a voice and you CAN use it. February's Arts Leadership Forum will feature Steven Churchwell, an attorney specializing in political law, speaking about the opportunities nonprofits have to influence change. Mr. Churchwell will also offer simple suggestions that organizations of all budget sizes can use to make their voice be heard. There is no charge for this event.
